Denti-Cort   (Dental Paste)
Anti-inflammatory and antiallergic for oral mucosa

Composition:
Each 100g Dental Paste contains 100mg Triamcinolone Acetonide.

Indications:
Denti-Cort is a potent corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, and antipruritic action. Denti-Cort is indicated to reduce pain accompanied with oral irritation or oral mucosa ulcers as a result of burn’s or traumatic origin.

Usage:
Apply Denti-Cort as a thin layer to cover the oral lesion 2 – 3 times daily after meals.
If no improvement has been noticed after 7 days, treatment should be discontinued and reason must be detected.

ContraIndications:

Fungal or viral infection in mouth or throat, hypersensitivity to active material or to any of Denti-Cort components.

Side Effects:
Prolonged treatment may cause side effects similar to the effects which appear during steroid derivatives oral usage such: Adrenal suppression, alteration in glucose metabolism, protein catabolism, or activation of peptic ulcers. Such effects will disappear upon cessation of therapy.

Precautions:

• Denti-Cort should not be used in infants.
• Topical application of corticosteroid for a long course, may cause an absorption of the steroid into blood circulation.
• Corticosteroids should not be used without prescription in patients with tuberculosis, peptic ulcer, and diabetes mellitus.
• Use of corticosteroids may produce reduction in natural immunity of the oral tissue.
• If irritation or sensitivity occurs, treatment should be discontinued.

Use in Pregnancy:
It is not preferable to use in pregnancy, unless the physician is consulted.

Carton pack contains aluminum tube of 10g, with leaflet.
