Domizyle (EMULSION)

COMPOSITION:
Each 100g Domizyle Emulsion contains 25g Benzyl Benzoate BP.

INDICATIONS:
Domizyle Emulsion is indicated for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis.

USAGE:
Domizyle Emulsion is for external use only.
Adults: After taking a hot bath and drying, Domizyle Emulsion is applied to the whole body except the head and face, treatment should be repeated once daily for 3 consecutive days without taking a bath. Special emphasis should be applied on infected areas. If any part of the body is accidentally washed throughout the treatment period, then Domizyle Emulsion should be re-applied at this specific area. During the treatment period, patient should not use clothing, bed sheets, and towels till these are boiled.
Children: As mentioned above, but Domizyle Emulsion should be diluted as follows:
1 quantity of Domizyle Emulsion + 1 quantity of water.
Infants: As mentioned above, but Domizyle Emulsion should be diluted as follows:
1 quantity of Domizyle Emulsion + 2 quantity of water
Or otherwise as instructed by physician.

SIDE – EFFECTS:
Domizyle Emulsion causes little skin irritation and may cause a transient burning sensation.

PRECAUTIONS:

1. Persons who are in contact with the patient, should also apply the drug.
2. Clothing, bed sheets, and towels should be boiled to get rid of the insects. The mattress and things, which are impossible to wash, should be exposed to sunrays.
3. Avoid contact with face, eyes and mucous. If it accidentally gets into them, it should be washed thoroughly with water.
4. Treatment should be repeated for 3 consecutive days for whole the family.
